For those I haven't been able to inform yet, our dear little one has arrived into the world! After 33 hours of labor, Tadpole was born 5:49a Saturday, June 20, weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. and measuring 21 1/4 inches. And... Tadpole turned out to be the most gorgeous little girl (not a frog, but still cute)! Needless to say, we are extremely happy (and tired!!!). Sorry it took so long to share the news here... We weren't released from the hospital until Monday afternoon, so I've very slowly been catching up on my rounds between feedings, washing dishes, cooking, changing dirty diapers, combating projectile secretions of the lower quadrant (note to self: do *not* attempt to change diapers in front of a vent while the A/C is running), and the occasional nap. Sadly, because my water broke so unexpectedly Thursday night, we ran out of the house without my camera and my husband's cell phone charger, and his phone died before our little one was born, so I don't really have any hospital photos. However, I will be posting an album to Facebook soon. Thank you all so much for all your prayers and positive wishes for our pregnancy and delivery! Yea!!!
